Knife Party Wallpaper by rebel28 Knife Party Wallpaper by rebel28

A wallpaper I decided to make for Knife Party

I used 3ds Max and Photoshop CS5 to make it
The entire explosion on the right was made by me using a shattered cylinder in 3ds Max, and the fractal brush from Obsidan Dawn's Special Effects brushset.

I also used IHEA's Vector brushsets (Linedot, Tech Ring, etc.) around the image.

You can get the full file here, which includes the vectors I made for the wallpaper.
And a wallpaper without all the credits, as well as the original double-sized image I worked with (3840x2400)

:) Thanks a bunch.

And thanks for crediting me, many people don't credit the original creators.

This is awesome dude. That 3d logo really makes it pop; been trying to incorporate more 3d models into my stuff. Only problem is the modeling is pretty time consuming and you can't really start the project without it so takes patience. In this case, it probably didn't take too long just because it's mostly basic shapes... did you do the texturing in 3ds max or photoshop?

Thanks.
Well I used vector shapes to make the logo in Photoshop, so it was simply a case of importing it into 3ds Max, and then extruding it.

I just used 3ds Max's built in textures, nothing too fancy.
